Have you received a form from the CBR for an ophthalmic examination? At Noble Mirage, you can book a comprehensive CBR eye examination. Please bring the form with you to your appointment so we can complete it during the examination.
During the examination, we assess your vision and the health of your eyes. We measure, among other things:
- How clearly you see without glasses or contact lenses
- How clearly you see with glasses or contact lenses
- Whether your vision can be improved further
- Your visual field
- The health of your eyes
When necessary, we use pupil-dilating eye drops to examine your eyes thoroughly.
After the examination, we will go through the results with you. We then submit the completed form digitally to the CBR using the ZD code on your letter. You do not need to arrange this yourself.
A CBR eye examination usually takes between 30 and 45 minutes. In some cases, additional testing may be needed at a later date to complete the assessment.
If your eyes have been dilated, your vision may be blurred for several hours and you may be more sensitive to light. We therefore recommend that you do not drive yourself after the appointment. If possible, bring someone with you or arrange alternative transport. Sunglasses may also be helpful on your way home.
